Get to know the team at Apriori<\/h2>

We are seven co-workers, all specialized in compliance and financial law. Our clients mainly consist of companies in the financial sector and the insurance industry. With our deep competence and long experience, we help companies in matters such as authorization applications, ongoing compliance matters and implementation of regulatory law. <\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Marie has been working in the financial services industry since the beginning of the 80's, and has been working with Swedish as well as international financial institutions.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

TYPE OF ASSIGNMENT<\/h5>

Marie primarily works with AIF managers, securities companies, payment services, and consumer credit institutions and aids them with permit applications, investigations, and ongoing counseling. Training in regulations are also part of the assignments. Marie also maintains the compliance function of securities companies and AIF managers.<\/p><\/div>

BOARD ASSIGNMENTS<\/h5>

Marie has extensive experience of working with board assignments in private companies that are subject to supervision. She also works with counseling regarding business strategy and issues related to internal governance and control.<\/p><\/div>

AIF MANAGERS<\/h5>

Marie has considerable experience working with mutual funds in matters such as authorization, business strategy and structuring, and compliance for national and international AIF managers and AIF funds, such as special funds, PE funds and real estate funds.<\/p><\/div>

Marie has also worked at SEB with asset management, private banking and trading. She has a background as a CEO of a fund management company and a securities company registered in Luxembourg. Caroline has over 25 years of experience working as an employee for financial companies and in advising them. She mainly works with occupational pension companies, insurance companies and companies in the public sector. She also takes on assignments as external compliance function and data protection officer. She is an expert in occupational pension business regulation, insurance business regulation, GDPR and ISDA Master Agreements.<\/p><\/div> <\/div>

Caroline maintains or assists the compliance function in financial companies. She also has assignments as an external data protection officer in both private and public sector. Ongoing counseling, negotiation of ISDA Master Agreements, training in regulations and various types of investigations are also part of the assignments.<\/p><\/div>

DATA PROTECTION<\/h5>

Caroline has assignments as external data protection officer at financial companies and in the public sector. The work involves (i.a.) risk analyses, controls, training in GDPR and ongoing advice.<\/p><\/div>

DERIVATIVES & CAPITAL MANAGEMENT<\/h5>

Caroline has vast experience in negotiating international framework agreements for OTC derivative transactions such as the ISDA Master Agreement, as well as asset management agreements.<\/p><\/div>

She also has extensive experience in M&A:s and can assist with corporate transactions and due diligence.<\/p><\/div>

Alf-Peter has more than 35 years of experience in the financial sector. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a banking and securities lawyer at a major bank, as well as chief legal counsel and compliance officer at a securities brokerage firm. For the past 24 years, he has been practicing as a lawyer and partner at two other law firms, assisting participants in the financial market in their dealings with the Financial Supervisory Authority in matters related to licensing, supervision, and sanctions.<\/p><\/div>

CLIENTS<\/h5>

Alf-Peter's clients include Swedish and international securities institutions, fund management companies, AIF managers, payment service providers, insurance intermediaries, and banks, that require expert assistance with various matters relating to financial regulation. He has helped numerous entrepreneurs establish companies and obtain the necessary licenses for their operations. As one of the pioneers in the market, he has offered companies the option of outsourcing their compliance function to him. He also assists companies under the supervision of government authorities, such as the County Administrative Board, in complying with anti-money laundering regulations and other requirements, etc.\nHe is an appreciated lecturer and has written textbooks such as \"R\u00e5d till r\u00e5dgivare\" (on financial advicing) and \"R\u00e4tt kurs p\u00e5 v\u00e4rdepappermarknad\" (on market abuse) on behalf of the Swedish Securities Markets Association.\nAlf-Peter is a member of NGM's disciplinary committee.<\/p><\/div>
