Compliance means to comply

Financial companies are obliged to comply with the laws and regulations that apply to the business. A Compliance officer (responsible for regulatory compliance) is tasked with helping companies comply with the rules that apply to the business. Duties include, among other things, assisting in the implementation of internal guidelines and instructions, checking compliance, identifying and reporting deficiencies in regulatory compliance, and training the board and employees in the regulations. In addition, the Compliance officer must regularly report to the board and management.
